ABOUT
The Sunrise Wellness Center Library at the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier is comprised of books and resources meant to help individuals improve their mental and emotional health. Wellness is a theme you will find woven throughout the library. Common themes are Hobbies, Self-Help, Mental Health, Emotional Health, Substance Use, Trauma, History, Wellness, Mindfulness Workbooks, and more! The library is FREE and open the community!
COVID-19 POLICIES
All members will have full access to the online Sunrise Wellness Center Lending Library Catalog. We are not accepting walk-in visitors at this time; please call (607) 771-8888 to schedule pickup and drop off times. ALL returned materials will be isolated for (10) days before being put back into circulation. In order to prevent unnecessary contact with library materials the Administrative Assistant (Librarian) will retrieve the desired books. We are asking all visitors to review the library catalog online or by reviewing our laminated catalog available at the front desk.
SUNRISE WELLNESS CENTER LENDING LIBRARY POLICIES
- All Memberships are voluntary and can be canceled at any time using Librarika or calling us at (607) 771-8888.
- In order to access the library community members MUST provide their full name, address, phone number, and email address to become a member.
- No materials will to be distributed to individuals who have not met the criteria above.
- No materials will allowed to be distributed to individuals who refuse to participate in this (online) service. There are no alternative methods to participate.
- No more than (2) materials will be issued at one time.
- No materials will be issued to individuals who have overdue materials, or have not replaced missing, lost, stolen, or damaged materials.
- Members are responsible for replacing any lost, stolen, or damaged materials,
- Failure to return materials will lead to restricted library access and attempts to recoup the cost of the lost, stolen, or damaged item.
SIGINING OUT MATERIALS
- A limit of (2) items may be issued at any given time.
- Materials are issued for 14 days at a time. The timeframe may be extended every 14 days and can not exceed (30) days at any given time.
- DO NOT write in, highlight, color, draw, check or mark or fold ANY of the materials in the library. Members that do so will be asked to replace the material (New).
- DO NOT share, lone, or trade library materials you are responsible if items are lost, stolen, or damaged.

CHECKING MATERIALS IN
Materials can be returned by using the mail slot on the front of the Mental Health Association of the Tier, Inc. (MHAST) located at 47 Broad Avenue, Binghamton, New York 13904 or by scheduling a drop off time during office hours M-F 8:30AM - 4:00PM
- Books will be reviewed for wear and damage before being put back into circulation.
